Introduction

Welcome to the preview site dedicated to Night Warrior, a comic series yet to be released.  This website is meant to showcase the characters, designs, and comedy of the series before it runs on the printing presses and into a store near you at an unspecified future date.  This site will not completely reveal any of the plot or storyline so as to legally protect myself (something that is very important with the expanse of the Internet these days), but it will provide a way for you, the potential reader and fan, to become interested and drawn into the world of Night Warrior as he and his co-stars parody many of today's modern comic and anime series that have become apart of the pop-culture.  Recent to the website is the addition of a mini-series comic, Night Warrior Limited.  Be sure to check it out!

Who is Night Warrior?

Night Warrior is a super hero of the 22nd century.  Suited up in mechanically enhanced armor, he battles against forces bent on destroying Cheesy Tech Corporation.  Why the interest in that particular corporation?  When he's not busting heads, he's running the show.

Multi-trillionaire Tom Bonds owns half the world's business, and is the leader in such high-demand fields as technology, aerospace, automotive, and computers.  With all this technology under his belt, as well as some good old-fashioned firepower, Tom designed the ultimate fighting machine for use in police combat situations.  However, before the system could be impletemented, Tom decided it would be tested first.  What better way than to take down the gang of cyber thugs stealing corporate secrets to sell to his competitors?

As the story of Tom Bonds and his power armor continues, the plots get thicker, the enemies tougher, and the stakes higher.  Well, from his perspective, that is.  That's when a new armored hero shows up on the scene, and corporate sponsorship becomes fated to play a crucial role in deciding who will survive.

What good futuristic comic series isn't complete without aliens?  Before the war between metals can be finished, both armored heroes are drawn into a fight on a more universal scale.  With new friends and an alien babe by his side, and a few planets of power-hungry aliens on the other, Night Warrior is sure to have his hands full!

What to Expect on This Site

The site is primarily dedicated to Night Warrior, and features character bios, pictures, and vehicle descriptions.  To get the reader more acquianted with Night Warrior as a character, I've also written several fan stories (fan fictions) with Night Warrior crossing into different Japanese comic (anime) universes.

The music and quotes sections are totally for fun, and have no relation to Night Warrior at all.  Periodically and unexpectedly I'll do a review of something I feel is worth reviewing, or ranting about.  Usually it'll be related to some insight I had.  You can find those under the "Reviews" link.

If you'd like to learn more about me, you can check out the "About the Artist" link or take a look at my online journal which I update at least weekly (but it's mostly nonsense).

Brand-new!  Night Warrior Limited is a special mini-series event to be released weekly right here on this site!  Feturing the cast of the Night Warrior series, it will be an introduction for those of you wanting to see more than just oncept art.

Also brand-new, the forum has returned!  Discuss anything and everything to do with Night Warrior, myself, the new miniseries, or whatever's on your mind.  Just click the link "Message Board" in the navigation menu.

Brand new header images!  Just one more to go.  Also, an updated About the Artist page.  Slowly but surely the updates are coming as promised!  I didn't realize just how taxing so many of my projects were going to be, but, it's all slowly getting done.

More Night Warrior Limited teasers!  This is getting crazy!  Or is it?  Anyway, a real update: The message board is back for another go-round.  Also brand new to this page, a Flash 4 navigation menu.  Why did I bother?  Because it was fun and cheaper than using some silly program that makes Flash navigation menus for you.  Okay, I did it to spite my enemies, I'll admit it.  I also learned a nifty bit of Java that will detect a Flash Player plugin on your browser.  So, if you see the same ol' text links instead of nifty yellow buttons, then you don't have a good enough player or none at all.  Go get it!  (Oh, and I also changed the navigation so I could switch most of the links over to my new host.)

Teaser complete!  What is Night Warrior Limited?  Only time will tell...  See preview here.  Teasers will be updated each week until the official release date.  Thanks to Super Dave for his late-night effort in making the teasers for me!  Times are hectic, but it'll all even out soon, and when it does....  Be ready!

New review in the reviews section: A Simple Guide to Making GUNDAM Models, Part 2 of 2; Tips and Trick to Mend and Fix.  I know, been a long time since I promised it, but I finally got the pictures developed, so that's what the holdup was.  Also fixed the file storage structure of the site to consolidate what needed to be where and etc., which is good because it helped me clear out over a megabyte of crap I don't need anymore, heh.  Also cuts down on potential bandwidth-usage, which is good.  Still working on the banner images, been facing a tough choice concerning that project.  Turns out the actual drawing area is quite small on paper, even though it's a huge blank spot on your computer screen.  So, I can either shrug and do it anyway, or I can resize the banner so there's more height to the blank space, and thus more space to draw in.  Don't be surprised if that's the case, since it's not too hard to change the height of that image and mess up the page layout.  Let's see here...  Nope, no other updates.  Next month I'll have a couple gallery updates, that's for certain, as well as a teaser for a Night Warrior story I'll be posting online.  Heh, don't you love this?  A teaser for the teaser!  But, just hang tight, summer vacation is just around the corner for me! See you next month!

Done with the music page at last!  I totally redid the layout, which was no small task at all.  There are now also 386 songs that you can download, meaning an increase of 105 songs since last time!  Ninety-one of those songs though are in a single ZIP file for ease of downloading, so the actual number of links is around 200 or so (there's another ZIP file with about as many songs).  Also this time around I formated the pages a bit better so Netscape will support them.  I even added a bit of code so the font doesn't come out all tiny on Macs.  I'll probably test that some other time.  I replaced the counter on the fan fiction page finally, too.  The plans for the random title image are finalized and that should be up sometime within the next week or so.

Wow, check that out, an update exactly one month later!  I honestly didn't plan for that, but it's nifty all the same.  Anyway, finally got around to changing the back buttons with a new image and changing the links so they send you to this page and not the redirect page.  Also got the favorites icon set up, so now if you save this page under your Favorites in Explorer 5.0 and up, a nifty little icon will show up next to the link!  Now, I need to get a new counter for the Fan Fics page since the old one seems to have pooped out on me.  I perfected the random image code for this page, so when I get some random images, it'll all work nicely!  Right now it's set to show the same exact picture, but randomly.  Heh heh.  I tested it originally by drawing in numbers in the gray area in copies of the main image, while leaving one image untouched.  Now, it's set to show the same image every time you load the page.  Basically, right now it's a whole lot of code just to show one image.  Quite useless, yes, but that's just until I draw up some pictures to toss in.  Well, hope you all had a happy Valentine's Day, a.k.a. Singles Awareness Day, a.k.a. Fat People Acknowledgement Day!  Until next month!  I might even have the music page up again!

Removed all the MIDI files on the current pages, including each individual profile page.  Rigged up some redirect pages for my old pages that I know are still being linked to, such as "Intro.html" and "home.html".  Don't be surprised if any of the back buttons on the current pages take you to the redirect page, I'm still trying to find the pesky bugs.  If you happen to find one, go ahead and drop a comment here for me, and I'll be much oblidged!  Also fixed the counter on the vehicle registry page, finally.  As for the banner at the top of the page, sooner or later I will have some pictures to put in the blank gray area, which was my original idea.  I think what else I'll do, if I can find the time, is make more than one and have a pic load randomly every time the page is loaded.  Little coder's trick to make the site look fresh and new with every visit, heh heh. ^_^

So just what exactly is new about this site?  Well after thinking long and hard about it, I realized a site full of frames was a lot more of a pain than it was cool.  First off, there are pop-ups all over the site on every single page.  I apologize of course, but it's not mine to control.  So, to alieviate the stresses of pop-up punching, I have gotten rid of the frames and transfered to a simple system where all the navigation links open in a new window.  I am also in the process of removing all MIDI music from the pages since I am now aware of how much a problem they can be, even if the controls are present.  Basically, I designed the navigation and introduction page with the average web viewer in mind.  Thanks to the beauty of Cascading Style Sheets, the page will look good in most any browser with most any settings, so no more of that "Set your monitor to this and set your browser to that" nonsense!  I hope you all enjoy, and if you have questions or comments, feel free to send me an e-mail or follow the "comments" link directly below.

With updates few and far between, I decided to just remove the whole newsletter/updates page since it wasn't doing much for me anyway.  Sure, it's fun to rant on and on, but seriously now, do you really want to read a bunch of nonsense?  There are few who do.  So, now all updates will be briefly summerized right here for your convienience!
